When I first imagined hosting a TEDx event at St. Joseph Convent School, I knew it had to be more than just a stage and a microphone — it had to be a platform for our students to truly shine. Our school is filled with young women brimming with ideas, talent, and courage. I wanted to create a space where they could share their voices with the world and with each other.
TEDx is not just about giving a speech — it’s about stretching yourself, stepping outside your comfort zone, and discovering what you’re capable of when you stand up and speak out. By preparing and delivering their talks, our students challenge themselves to think deeply, communicate powerfully, and grow in confidence.
This year’s theme, Young Women Rising, is exactly what St. Joseph Convent School stands for — nurturing girls who are ready to rise, lead, and inspire. I hope this event sparks new ideas, ignites passions, and reminds every speaker and listener that their voice matters — and that they are already rising.
I have the privilege of curating the TEDx SCJ School Bangkok event experience. Something that is truly an honour!
